These pictures, videos and letters deserve to be stored safely and accessible for centuries, which is why we choose to build on the permanent web created by Arweave. In contrast, physical family photo albums get lost or can't be easily accessed, hard drives only last 5 - 10 years and sites like ancestry.com are unlikely to be around forever and can lock data. Even cloud storage does not guarantee immutable data storage like Aurora does using the permaweb.
